Academic Integrity Policy

Assessment Help Australia provides academic support. Our purpose is to help students understand their assessments, improve their academic skills and submit work that is genuinely their own.

What our support includes

  • Explaining assessment questions, task words and marking criteria.
  • Planning support: structure, section order, argument shape and timelines.
  • Research guidance, including how to find and evaluate suitable sources.
  • Academic writing support covering clarity, tone, grammar and paragraph flow.
  • Proofreading and editing of drafts the student has written.
  • Referencing and citation consistency guidance.
  • Constructive feedback on student drafts before submission.

What we do not do

  • We do not write graded assessments for students.
  • We do not submit work to an institution on a student's behalf.
  • We do not sit examinations, tests or online assessments for students.
  • We do not access student accounts or learning management systems.
  • We do not guarantee grades, marks or academic outcomes.
  • We do not supply work to be presented as if the student had written it.

Student responsibilities

Every Australian institution publishes its own academic integrity and assessment rules, and those rules take precedence. Before using any external support, students should check what their institution permits — particularly for proofreading, editing and third-party assistance — and follow any declaration requirements. Students are responsible for the content, originality and submission of their own work.

Where policies differ

Requirements vary between universities, TAFEs, faculties and individual units. Where our general guidance differs from your course materials, unit outline or institutional policy, follow your institution. If you are unsure whether a particular kind of support is allowed for your assessment, ask your unit coordinator or academic skills adviser first, and tell us what your institution permits so we can keep our support within it.

Declining requests

We decline requests that would breach academic integrity, including requests to write, complete or sit assessments. If a request falls outside what we can support, we will say so and explain what legitimate support is available instead.
